Job Title: Store Manager
Reports to: Production Manager/Operations Manager
Job Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse/store, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies. This role involves coordinating with production teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless inventory management and supporting the overall manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
– Receive, inspect, and store raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
– Maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
– Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize storage.
- Warehouse Operations:
– Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate tasks to ensure efficient operations.
– Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
– Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Supply Chain Coordination:
– Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of materials.
– Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient issuance of materials.
- Reporting and Analysis:
– Prepare and submit regular inventory reports and analysis.
– Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize inventory management.
- Compliance and Safety:
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
– Promote a safety-first culture and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
– 12+ years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control.
– Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
– Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
– Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
