Job Title: Senior Executive – Quality
Reports to: Quality Head
Job Summary:
The Senior Executive – Quality is responsible for leading the organization’s quality strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Strategy:
– Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with business objectives.
– Ensure quality policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to across the organization.
- Compliance:
– Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, FDA).
– Maintain certifications and accreditations.
- Continuous Improvement:
– Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
– Foster a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.
- Quality Management System:
– Oversee the development and maintenance of the quality management system.
– Ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS.
- Risk Management:
– Identify and mitigate quality-related risks to the organization.
– Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Leadership:
– Provide leadership and guidance to quality teams across the organization.
– Develop and mentor quality professionals to ensure succession planning.
- Collaboration:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.
– Work closely with customers, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality expectations are met.
Requirements:
– 15+ years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
– Strong knowledge of quality management principles, industry standards, and regulations.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications:
– Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
– Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification.
– Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERM) certification.
Industry Experience:
– Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
