Job Title: Head of Human Resources (HR)
Reports to: V. P. Operations
Job Summary:
The HR Head is responsible for leading the human resources function, developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support business objectives, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy:
– Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
– Lead HR initiatives to drive employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Talent Management:
– Oversee recruitment, selection, and on boarding processes.
– Develop and implement talent development programs.
- Employee Relations:
– Foster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and issue resolution.
– Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Benefits and Compensation:
– Design and implement competitive benefits and compensation programs.
– Conduct market research to ensure programs are aligned with industry standards.
- Performance Management:
– Develop and implement performance management systems.
– Ensure fair and consistent application of performance management processes.
- Training and Development:
– Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills.
– Collaborate with departments to design and deliver training programs.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
– Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
– Identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Requirements:
– 15+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing.
– Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and regulations.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, Workday, etc.).
Education:
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications:
– SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or equivalent.
– PHR/SPHR or equivalent.
