Job Title: Dispatch and Logistics Manager

Job Summary:
The Dispatch and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the dispatch and logistics functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, finished goods, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Management:
– Coordinate with production teams to plan and schedule dispatches.
– Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of finished goods.
- Logistics Management:
– Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and warehousing.
– Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Transportation Management:
– Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective service.
– Manage transportation budgets and negotiate rates.
- Inventory Management:
– Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory levels.
– Implement inventory management best practices.
- Supply Chain Optimization:
– Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
– Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Compliance:
– Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
– Manage documentation and reporting for dispatch and logistics.
- Team Leadership:
– Lead and mentor dispatch and logistics teams.
– Provide guidance and support to ensure team success.
Requirements:
– 8+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain management.
– Strong knowledge of logistics principles, transportation management, and inventory control.
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS, etc.).
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Certifications:
– Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification.
– Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) certification.
